How long is a therapy session at Daleville Family Counseling?

A client’s initial assessment appointment will be 1 hour in length. Each subsequent appointment will be 45-50 minutes in length.

Does Daleville Family Counseling offer in-person appointments?

No. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Daleville Family Counseling, Inc. transitioned to a fully-remote business. All appointments are undertaken online via telehealth.

How often should I have appointments with Dee?

Most new clients are seen weekly, or as determined mutually based on the needs and circumstances of the client.

For what length of time should I commit to therapy?

The length of time you should commit to therapy is dependent on the issues for which you are seeking treatment or support. Some issues can be resolved quickly in only a few sessions while others may take months to work through and will require a longer commitment. At a minimum, I recommend clients commit to between 2 months and 6 months of therapy - though this is NOT a requirement to receive counseling services from Dee.
